Next we will sit down with Dr. Kevin Hosch and go over your concerns and goals. Dr. Hosch will ask many questions, to get the full picture of what is occurring. As well as, go over the paperwork that was filled out prior to the appointment.

Dr. Hosch will run through some orthopedic tests to further help him determine what is causing the issue and where the issue may be stemming from.

Dr. Hosch often says “He will not guess with a patient's health”. The reason for x-rays is to take out the guessing component of chiropractic. With a clear picture of what is occurring in the spine Dr. Hosch will be able to care for that patient’s specific needs better. As well as, having a better understanding on what to expect on the path of healing.

Dr. Hosch will do the same thing on every visit when assessing the spine. Those steps include; Running the nervoscope down and up the spine to detect heat or inflammation, visualization of the spine looking for abnormalities, palpation of the skin and muscles surrounding the spine, and the motion of the spine with some simple movements of the patient.

“Chiropractic is specific or it is nothing” With the X-rays and the Chiropractic assessment of the spine, Dr. Hosch will determine what needs to be adjusted and specifically correct that misalignment with a quick gentle force using his hands.

This may happen on the first day or it might happen on the next visit to the office depending on time. This is when Dr. Hosch will go over your x-rays and other findings. He will point out some of the issues and explain what is causing it. He will also make a plan to address the issue and what is to be expected.
