Dr. Kevin Hosch
Dr. Kevin Hosch grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a family-oriented, caring, hard-working, honest individual who treats everyone with respect and integrity. Dr. Hosch started building these morals while attending Xavier High School. He was involved with different sports and clubs, particularly football, basketball, and baseball, which he still enjoys.
He later went on to the University of Northern Iowa to obtain his bachelor's degree and to play collegiate football. Unfortunately, his football career was cut short due to a low back injury. After working with many trainers, physical therapists, team physicians, and two orthopedic surgeons, nothing seemed to help. Luckily, his roommate at the time recommended trying chiropractic and it changed his life forever. Not only did he get great results, but the more he learned about the profession, the more he fell in love with it. That’s when he changed his major from pre-dental to biology and applied to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Education & Background
While at Palmer, Dr. Hosch learned many different techniques but gravitated towards the Gonstead Technique because of its specificity in the adjustment and the results it was able to achieve. To learn more about this technique, he attended many weekend seminars and was involved with the Gonstead club to help perfect his skills. After graduation, he left Davenport and went up the Mississippi river to practice chiropractic in the La Crosse area. During that time, he learned many useful skills, helped many people, and built great relationships.
